AR450 steel is a high-carbon steel alloy composed of several different elements, including carbon and boron. With a surface hardness of 420—470 BHN, this grade’s unique composition and treatment allow it to provide more surface hardness than AR400, while maintaining good ductility, formability and impact resistance.
